Here is a little bit about me and why I decided to become a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.

My Stamping Story.

Arts and Crafts have always been a big draw for me. There was a fabulous after-school art program at my elementary school where I did cool things like screen-printing and calligraphy and making books and handmade paper. And I still have some of these projects as keepsakes from my childhood!

Stamping fills my creative desire and need to play with fun crafting toys. I stamped a lot about eight years ago, but pushed my hobbies to the side as parenting became more hectic. In October 2015 I reconnected with Stampin’ Up! as a customer but quickly found I wanted more. That’s when I decided to jump in as a demonstrator to get a discount on the many things I wanted for myself as well as introduce others to this wonderful hobby.

I think one of the reasons I didn’t stick with stamping the first time is that I wasn’t in the habit of sending or giving the cards I made to people. There was no greater purpose. This time I am making an effort to pay attention to what is going on in my friends’ and families’ lives and send cards when appropriate… beyond the obvious birthday card. It is so easy to send a message over social media these days, but a real live and in-person piece of mail means so much more. A handmade card is kept, and remembered and cherished.

I hope you will find some inspiration here for your own crafting and card making. While I tend to keep things fairly simple on my cards, I am always evolving my style. When I look back at the cards I made 8-10 years ago they are nothing like what I am coming up with now.

Join Me on this Fabulous Adventure and become a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.

I love it when I find like-minded (right-brained!) people who love crafts and stamping as much as I do. I am actively looking for more ladies to become a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator on my team the Creative Inklings (and by default my upline Tami White’s team, the Stamp It Group.) There is no obligation to sell product ever (unless you want to) and you can get a 20% discount on all your own purchases. We have lots of fun in our online Facebook Groups, sharing ideas and inspiration and lots of FREE card tutorials. Get all the details here!
